Project 1

Project 3 Research and Ideas

I was thinking about creating an interactive pdf based on specific natural hazards.  This could leave options for designing danger signs.  Perhaps I could have the scroll over on a human body consulting specific hazards that cause harm to that part of the body.  I was hoping to be a little goofy, but have accurate information.

Project 1 Illustration Inspiration

Nik Holmes has a very interesting artistic style.  I enjoy the playfulness and the similarities to cartoons with subjects that are usually gross or disturbing.

Christopher King has a similar style, but has more realistic attributes to his work.

George Fan's designs for "Plants vs Zombies" is pretty inspiring.  Here is a link to an interview with him.

Also check out this sweet link where they show you how to replicate the "Plants vs Zombies" logo.

5 Scientific Reasons a Zombie Apocalypse Could Actually Happen

Zombies Are the New Vampires
http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1890384,00.html

I'm leaning towards the last option 'Zombies Are the New Vampires' because the article is the most specific and the most friendly towards a specific design.
